And You Thought Your Monday Was Bad
Barbara, an outer space enthusiast, she worked as a kitchen attendant at a law office for the past ten years. Despite her exhaustion from her job, she dreamed of a peaceful life from her childhood days. She was from a rural background but left for the city when she was quite young. Nothing out of the ordinary ever happened. She thought about this, why was life so dull?
On this Monday, Barbara was angry as her co-worker Leon called in sick, leaving her to handle everything by herself. However, her day took a turn for the worse when she looked outside. She saw what looked like a spaceship outside the window. “That can’t be,” Barbara said to herself.
The spaceship landed on the building’s rooftop, and an iridescent alien stepped out. He had his orders: to conquer Earth starting with all lawyers. Barbara, being an outer space fanatic, was at first confused, but decided to take on the alien. Like, what else could she do?
Barbara realized that she might not make it out alive. She peered out of the window of the coffee bar, her eyes trained on the sleek spaceship that had landed in the center of the town square. She knew that she had to act fast if she was going to stop the alien from completing its mission. Apparently, it had to have a mission.
